The generated disk image is meant for any AMD64-compatible computer, may they run an EFI firmware or not.
Booting the image in QEmu
$ qemu-system-x86_64 -enable-kvm -nographic -no-reboot -m size=1024 -nic user,model=e1000 -drive format=raw,file="${OUTPUT_IMG}"
Flashing
This image is intended to be flashed on any drive (HDD, SSD, USB pendrive) using the following command:
# dd if=${OUTPUT_IMG} of=${DEVICE} bs=1M conv=fsync status=progress
